The Hawaii Lowriders Tribute Cruise In Loving Memory of Dennis Tungpalan was hosted by Unity Car Club past & present for the month of August 2016 on Saturday, August 7th, 2016 at Central Oahu Regional Park from 3 p.m. till sunset. Lowrider clubs, families, & friends came together for this partiuclar Hawaii Lowriders Tribute Cruise in celebration of the life of Dennis Tungpalan. Unity Car Club Forever. Forever Unity Car Club. Always remembered. Never forgotten

"Dennis was a couple years older than me. We all grew up in Kalihi Valley, went to Farrington Highschool, and were in all the same automotive & welding classes. The Spankin Krew aka Pahulu Boiz always had the baddest rides in the valley from old school Toyotas, Vws, lifted 4 Runners, and mini trucks. Shortly after returning from UTI in Arizona, Dennis started messing around with lowriders thus forming Unity Car Club back in 1992. Dennis was a humble guy, always joking around and cracking jokes" reminisces Charlie Molina President of Supremacy Car & Motorycle Club and Unity Car Club member of the past

Car clubs in attendance included Unity C.C., Supremacy C.C., Timeless C.C., Good Times C.C., Outsiders C.C., Lowriders Pride C.C., Imaginations C.C., Childhood Dreams C.C., and a whole lot more including solo riders who could more than hold it down on their own
