Gen Korean BBQ House is a local chain Korean bbq grilled tableside & ban-chan in a trendy, modern setting. Here in Hawaii, Oahu to be exact, Gen Korean BBQ House is located within the Ala Moana Center. Their hours of operation are 10 a.m. till 11 p.m. 7 days a week

As for yours truly, I was impressed by the decor and athmosphere that Gen Korean BBQ House at Ala Moana Center exuded. Sort of like a night club feel leaning towards a darker lighting scheme with flashing multicolored lights.  Although I’ve only been to Gen Korean BBQ House at Ala Moana Center twice, I still can’t figure out why people would pay a restaurant to cook their own food. I guest in this scenario, it’s always best to have a friend or two who know their way around a grille. I mean I have no problem grilling and chilling for the family in front of a real barbeque grille along with some rib eye steaks, shrimp, and some chicken, but grilling within a restaurant ain’t my piece of cake.
