National Quesadilla Day is celebrated annually on September 25th and encourages foodies throughout the world to pull a chair up to a table and eat some authentic Mexican Quesadillas as either a snack and/or meal. The Quesadilla is a Mexican dish consisting of a tortilla that is filled primarily with cheese, and sometimes meats, spices, and other fillings and then cooked on a griddle or stove. The Quesadilla as a dish has changed and evolved throughout the years allowing different variations of the Quesadilla to be sold world wide.
