Eight08.net Show & Shine

The eight08.net Show & Shine, our very own event held on Sunday, February 19th, 2006 within Sand Island Beach Park with two meeting spots kicking off the Show & Shine. The first and official meeting spot was held at Blaisdell Park hosted by Supremacy Hawaii. The second meeting spot which was called the eight08 cruise was held at Waipio Park hosted by Team HI FI in collaboration with Rated R, RUNUMHARD, and Sugar. Two meeting spots gathering a wide range of vehicles all leading to one final destination, the eight08.net Show & Shine

The eight08.net Show & Shine brought to you by: eight08.net, Supremacy Hawaii, Elijah's Towing & Recovery, Drop Master Custom Fabrication, Switch Clothing Co., Island Car Audio, TEAM HI FI, Xccelerate Hawaii Magazine, Elise Entertainment, Midnight Rods & Customs, iKandy Wear, Island Hunnies, Thelma's Restaurant, Hawaii Motor Sports and Street Machine News, Rated R, RUNUMHARD, and the Girls of SUGAR

Another trophy given out was Club Participation sponsored by Xccelereate Hawaii Magazine

An eight08 King of the Streets Hop Off was held sponsored by Switch Clothing Co. A $200 cash pot prize along with a King of Streets Hop Off trophy started off the contest in which it was awarded to the person and it's vehicle who made the highest hop. With basically no rules in regards to setups, it was pretty much a bags versus hydraulics sort of deal. Like we quoted it when we first introduced this contest for our Show & Shine, "Run what you brung, no excuses!"

Eye candy appearances included the likes of Teresa Bringas, Pualei, Rachel Leigh, Lyz Cruz, Heatherlyn, and the Island Hunnies themselves

Much mahalos to our raffle prize sponsors which included the likes of iKandy Wear, Hawaii Motor Sports & Street Machine News, Island Car, Switch Clothing Co., Supremacy Hawaii, Team HI FI, Rated R, Xccelerate Hawaii Magazine, Green Bottle Productions, and Midas. R&D Sounds kept the beats pumping throughout the entire day and kept the crowd, participants, and spectators alike all hyped up. Thelma's Restaurant provided the grinds to keep the crowd content throughout the day

Crews, Clubs, and Teams represented strong which included the likes of Supremacy Hawaii, Team HI FI, Rated R, RUNUMHARD/OOFUMHARD, Sugar, the VW Club of Hawaii, Scion Evolution Hawaii Chapter, Childhood Dreams C.C., Mirror Image C.C., Down 2 Pound, Team S.T.R., UCE C.CC., Timeless Classics C.C., Elite C.C., Outsiders C.C., Traditions C.C., Turnin' Point C.C., Strictly S, Executive Konnexion, Dodge Truck World, and many others including solo riders alike who could more than could hold up on their own

All in all, a great turnout, a great showing, and a great day for the automotive community as a whole coming together for some fun under the hot hawaiian sun
