Max's Restaurant is a well loved Filipino restaurant serving authentic Philippine cuisine throughout the entire North America. Fortunately for yours truly, there are (2) locations to be found for Max's Restaurant within Oahu Nei. The first location is found in Honolulu, Hawaii within the Iwilei Complex, and the second location can be found in Waipahu, Hawaii within the Waipahu Shopping Plaza. And YES, Oahu is my home although I'm based out of San Franciso, California. San Francisco > Honolulu > Seattle to be exact
Pictured above and found towards the middle of the photo is their Daing Na Bangus. Their Daing Na Bangus is a boneless marinated Milkfish deep fried to perfection, and is reasonably priced at $15.95. Pair their Daing Na Bangus with a large order of their Garlic Rice priced at $6.25 and it is a match made in heaven that will certainly bring you back to your childhood days

Their Tyan Bangus Sinigang provides a burst of flavors as it touches your palate, and will make you crave even more for it's Milkfish belly hot and sour brothy goodness. Comfort food at it's best!
