Reed’s Bay Beach Park is a quaint simple park located on 277 Kalanianaole Avenue in Hilo, Hawaii

Reed’s Bay Beach Park features a narrow beach for swimming, fishing, and kayaking, and many other recreational usages

Inhabitants of the park included a variety of birds chirping away throughout the day, a family or two of ducks, and if you’re lucky enough, a “Honu” or two ie the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle will visit the shoreline to greet you with good luck

More importantly, Reed’s Bay Beach Park provided yours truly a location to where I could kick it during the mornings for some sedentary relaxation, reset, and recharge before heading off to work for an 8 hour evening shift on the Covid unit at a nearby Veterans Home
