Date: Saturday, March 11th, 2023. Time: 6:43 a.m. Location: H1 Highway, Townbound. Destination: Work. Another 8 hour shift ahead of me, but this morning’s weather looked very promising for this afternoon’s 808 LOWRIDERS MEET & EAT with the sun rising up above me and blue skies as far as my eyes could see. Let’s just say the weather hasn’t been cooperating this past week or two with cloudy skies and intermitent rain and scattered showers. Yes, I was definitely looking forward towards this afternoon’s 808 LOWRIDERS MEET & EAT

Time: 12: 00 p.m. Location: Still at work. Agenda: Lunch break. 5 hours away until our 808 LOWRIDERS MEET & EAT and the beautiful weather was holding up. I intentionally skipped eating a meal for lunch in anticipation with shoving down some onolicious broke da mouth Hawaiian kine local style kine grindz down my throat from Laverne’s Hawaiian and Local Style Food later in the afternoon

Time: 4: 45 p.m. Location: Laverne’s Hawaiian and Local Style Food truck within Pearlridge Shopping Center. Patiently waiting for my order of their Lau Lau and Squid Luau and ready to get my grub on. I was famished and rightfully so. As mentioned earlier, I had skipped eating a meal for lunch in anticipation for this moment

Lau Laus, Luaus, and Lowriders. Only In Hawaii. Pictured below in hand was my order of Lau Lau and Squid Luau along with a scoop of rice and macaroni salad from Laverne’s Hawaiian and Local Style Food. Verdict: (5) out of (5) Shakas

808 LOWRIDERS held their Meet & Eat on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 fronting the Laverne’s Hawaiian and Local Style Food Truck within Pearlridge Shopping Center bringing together Oahu’s Lowriding Community on a Saturday afternoon while enjoying the various broke da mouth local style kine grindz that Laverne’s Hawaiian and Local Style Food Truck had to offer

Car Clubs in attendance included Supremacy Car Club, USO Car Club Hawaii Chapter, Lowriders Pride Car Club, Dukes Car Club Hawaii Chapter, Unity Car Club, Outsiders Car Club, Childhood Dreams Car Club, Elite Car Club, Timeless Car Club, and a whole lot more including solo riders who could more than hold it down on their own

The interior of Tomas Velasco’s 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is all factory original with a touch gold and engraving added into the mix. Fun Fact: The factory air conditioning unit still resides within the interior of Tomas Velasco’s 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS and it’s original 327 cubic-inch Turbo-Fire small block still resides within it’s engine bay as well
