Spocom USA hit up our sandy shores of Oahu on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 bringing together Oahu’s hardest hitting imports all under one stage that being within the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall from 5 p.m. till 11 p.m. for Spocom Hawaii 2026
Father and son duo Henry Tabios and Henry Tabios Jr. of HT Automotive LLC brought out a double blast from the past that being their Ford Fox Body Mustang and Oahu’s first SFWD Civic as pictured above and below rocking the red carpet treatment at Spocom Hawaii 2026. Both of these cars hasn’t been seen for 20 plus years, both of these cars needed a lot of hard work, time, and dedication to get it back in the streets, and both of these cars made their return in honor of Spocom USA X Spocom Hawaii’s 20th Anniversary
Pictured above and below are photos of Henry Tabios Jr.’s SFWD Civic rocking a Gato B-Series setup within it’s engine bay. Roughly within a 5 month time span prior to Spocom Hawaii 2026, Henry Tabios Jr. acquired all the necessary parts, did all of the necessary fabrications, and basically changed everything on the Civic needed to complete it’s transformation to meet present day SFWD standards. SFWD stands for Sport Front Wheel Drive, a popular and fast class of drag racing focused on front wheel drive imports such as Henry Tabios Jr.’s purpose built SWFD Civic and he plans to ship his SWFD Civic to the island of Kauai in the near future for a shakedown pass being Oahu unfortunately hasn’t had a race track since the late 2000s
SMG Hawaii was in attendance at Spocom Hawaii 2026 with a host of high powered Italian cars, iconic Japanese Supercars, and American muscle cars within their lineup

Fun fact: Brennan Roylo’s 992 GT3 RS Weissach Package is an optional, track focused upgrade that cuts about 33 lbs. of weight and adds exposed carbon fiber parts throughout the vehicle
OSIXHI aka Old School Imports X Hawaii was in attendance at Spocom Hawaii 2026 with a variety of merchandise within their booth as well as a host of customized imports within their lineup

A duo of Nissan 240s owned by Barry Wong and Alyssa Verdugo rocked the floor with the red carpet treatment at Spocom Hawaii 2026
Drag Tech Racing Hawaii was in attendance at Spocom Hawaii 2026 with a number of vehicles within their lineup

Project Black Motorsports was in attendance at Spocom Hawaii 2026 with their RHD Subaru WRX Wagon as pictured above and below
Found within the engine bay of Project Black Motorsports RHD Subaru WRX Wagon is a 94mm GTX5533, and towards the rear is a pair of 10 pound NOS bottles making for an insane amount of horsepower. 1200 horsepower to be exact before Project Black Motorsports RHD Subaru WRX Wagon broke the dyno during it’s tuning session in the past
Nestor Motors was in attendance at Spcom Hawaii 2026 with a handful of Nissan GT-Rs and a fully restored Buick Grand National as pictured above
Adam Cardona’s 2004 Acura RSX, pictured above and below, caught my attention span for a bit as I was walking throughout the numerous isles of customized cars that could be found at Spocom Hawaii 2026
Shop Space was in attendance at Spocom Hawaii 2026 with a period correct Honda Accord Wagon that could be found within their booth
With that said, I’d like to congratulate Spocom USA X Spocom Hawaii for their 20th Anniversary here in Hawaii Nei. Spocom Hawaii is Hawaii’s premier and longest running automotive lifestyle and import culture event that has withstood the test of time and has been supported locally since day one bar none. 20 years deep, 20 years strong, and many more years to come.
